VERY small room

They gave us a room on the second floor, towards the back of the building. The windows were very well soundproofed, there was no noise from outside. The breakfast was a bit expensive, 11 euros per person, but good quality/quantity. Very friendly service during breakfast . Room size ok, but for a perfect weekend. Very good location, in the center. Check out a little early, at 11 (usually at 12).

I didn't like it, that the city fees, have to be paid, were collected before arriving at the hotel. normal thing is to charge the city fee when the client leaves, not before the client arrives. In our case we were charged the hotel stay before arrival (this if it was correct, for the type of reservation) and fees together. I asked the hotel and answer was "correct" but nothing else. is the only negative point.

Opted for a twin room here, glad I did! the room was recently renovated and spacious. 🌟

Centrally located - 300 or so metres from Koln main Railway station which in itself is adjacent to the magnificent cathedral. 250 metres from the Rhine where you can opt for various river cruises. We went down river to Bonn (3 hrs) and back by train 30 mins, so easy. All facilities includes shopping within walking distance of the hotel - a bonus was "Peters Brauhaus" opposite selling the local Kolsch beer. Would certainly use the hotel again because of its situation.

The rooms here are air conditioned and brand-new with a nice view of alter markt. Thanks very much, I would stay here again, loved this place.

When I booked my room I was looking for a quite and clean room and I really got it!The roomn was spacious ,very quite and was also clean.The welcoming was personalized with a welcome message with my name on the tv :that was touching.The hotel is very well located :near the cathedral,restaurants,central station,shopping centers and near the river.I Liked it and if I go to Koln again I wish I go there again.

I did not like the pillows because I am used to hard pillows and thiose in the room were too soft.Also I did not like the mattresses : I think they are not large enough.But I think in Germany they are like that ,because last year the hotel I was in had also same beds!I Am also used to have tv set in bedroom ,and in my room it was in another room.

Slow elevator

Enjoyed the twin room with a view of the Christmas market, which had all the basic facilities required for a comfortable stay.

The service was very good with an early check-in. Our twin room was generous-sized and brand-new, had cathedral view. The location was excellant and incredible, you can visit an archaeological museum by walking.

Excellent location directly on the Alte Markt-square and only a few blocks from the Dom. Breakfast buffet very good. Friendly staff. Easy parking facilities nearby, only 10E for 24 hrs just next to the Dom.
